Our own code

The tools and page layouts are written for this site. The pages make no requests to other servers; text you type and files you open are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

Third-party material

Four open-source libraries do the parsing and drawing. They are used unmodified and listed below with their licences. The README, changelog, release-notes and OpenAPI templates and examples on this site are our own writing; specifications we follow (CommonMark, GitHub Flavored Markdown, Keep a Changelog, Semantic Versioning, OpenAPI) are named on each tool page.
